Emily is celebrating her 5th Season as the Operations Manager at The Weingarten. Each year has brought exciting growth and lasting connections in the Belleville community, local wedding industry and WG family.
Emily’s previous work experience with the City of Belleville and as the Operations Manager & Booker at The Laugh Factory Chicago have taught her to be quick on her feet, attention to detail and an incredible sense of humor. Setting the scene for the most important days of people’s lives is something really special to Emily. Whether it’s pouring that glass of pinot to be shared with friends for an evening of laughter, or fluffing a dress so it flows perfectly down the isle to someone’s forever…Emily loves what she does!
When she leaves the acres of The Weingarten, Emily spends her time with her husband, John, Irish Setter, Murphy, and their greatest adventure yet…their 1-1/2 year old daughter, Mabel! Sips & giggles consume her life, and she wouldn’t have it any other way!
Emily recommends the Matua Sauv Blanc and Bread & Butter Pinot Noir…perfect for any patio! Oooo, and get the grown-up grilled cheese…you won’t regret it!
Meet Lindsey! Lindsey is one of our Wedding and Event Coordinators. She Joined The Weingarten Team in February 2019. When she’s not running around making sure everything goes perfect on the day of your event, you might find her running a race – she just completed her FIFTH half marathon! Lindsey lives in St. Louis, but just moved up here from Cape Girardeau, Missouri where she attended Southeast Missouri State University. Lindsey has a degree in Marketing, but always knew her favorite part of marketing was promotions and events. She found a passion for events when interning at a Radio Station in her hometown (Normal, IL) and fell in love all over again when planning her own wedding in 2016! Lindsey and her husband Michael have four furbabies – a Catahoula, a lab, a pug, and a husky! Lindsey’s favorite Weingarten dish is pretzels and beer cheese! She loves sweet wines – our Strawberry Sangria and Luccio Moscato D’Asti are her favorite!
Tyler received a bachelor’s degree in communications from Lindenwood University in May of 2016. Upon realizing that his passion was guest service, Tyler stopped pursuing a career in graphic design, in pursuit of a position in the more social bar scene. Tyler rose through the ranks from Bus Boy to Bar Manager over the course of 3 years in the industry. His favorite part of bartending is taking care of his guests and creating special moments for his guests to remember. Landing a career at the acclaimed winery The Weingarten in March of 2019, Tyler shifted focus and refined his palette from a beer drinker to a wine enthusiast. Tyler’s favorite items on the WG’s food menu are the Spinach & Artichoke Rangoon, and the Grown-up Grilled Cheese with Tomato Bisque. His favorite wine option is the PJ Valkenburg Dornfelder and the Kung Fu Girl Riesling. On his days off, you will find him with his wife Kara and their two pups Winston and Reinhardt, trying out new recipes at home, or with friends enjoying cocktails and wine on a patio.
Juliana graduated from the University of Missouri of St. Louis with her Bachelor’s in Education and an emphasis in Literacy and Special Education. As much as she is passionate about working with children, she found a new love in coordinating. Over the years, she has taken on the designated role as the decorator and party planner for her friends’ and family’s events. Which led her to leave the classroom and join the team here at The Weingarten in March 2019, as one of the Wedding and Event Coordinators. Juliana is not only passionate about the planning process, but she also strives to present her guests with the utmost customer service through her twelve years of customer service experience. When she is not working, you can find her hanging out with her family and friends or watching Hallmark Originals movies. Her favorite food items at The Weingarten are the Spinach and Artichoke Rangoons and the French Dip. When it comes to wines, she is all about the dry red wines. She recommends the Line 39 Pinot Noir and Silver Palm Cabernet Sauvignon.
